# W VIBE vocabulary

Updated: 2026-09-06. Selected Site name: **W VIBE**. First headline: **Your flex. Always shifting.** The logo accepted for the current version is a complete lime/orchid W vibe wordmark with coordinated motion; compare it and three symbol alternatives at `/logo-options`. Supporting vocabulary remains open to refinement after page review.

## Meaning and voice

“Digital collectibles” is not the settled public category. Describe what people can find, own and flex; the final underlying thing remains open. Look is the current appearance term, paired with a name and an illustrative previous/current comparison.

The experience combines the flex, rarity, mystery and evolution. **No cap** means truthful claims and clear source/price distinctions while retaining excitement. Slang gives the experience a voice; a purchase, sale, trade or warning still needs a plain explanation.

The two central paths are **buy a mystery Stash and skip discovery**, or **hunt for an individual Dub through The Chase**. A Stash can contain unrelated evolving items; its final rights and reveal rules are undefined.

## Current working labels

| Concept | Recommended working label | Meaning / limit |
|---|---|---|
| Individual collectible | **Dub**; plural **Dubs** | A proposed product noun built around W; category still open |
| Owner's collection | **Stash** | The Dubs held by that owner |
| Purchasable mystery collection / world | **Sealed Stash** | Contents not yet revealed; describing a purchase this way does not finalize reveal rules or rights |
| Especially coveted item | **Grail** | Desirability label; not an approved numerical rarity tier |
| Creator community | **Crew** | People who participate together; membership does not imply shared legal ownership |
| Discovery hunt | **Chase** | A game trail: signal, fragments, Shift in the current pilot; production mechanics remain open |
| Reveal | **Pull** | Showing a discovery; distinguish a hunt result from a randomized paid opening |
| Change event / current appearance | **Shift / Look** | A Shift changes its Look. Show a named Current look such as Violet haze; avoid unexplained state numbers |
| Expressive character / atmosphere | **Vibe** | Optional language for an item or collection's look/feel; no objective metric or rarity score |
| Buy / offer for sale / trade | **Cop / List / Swap** | Voice for the interface; transaction confirmations should say buy, sell, or trade clearly |
| Personal collection destination | **My Stash** | An owner's holdings/display |
| Public featured grid | **The Flex** | A showcase; this name does not select a ranking formula |
| Activity feed / an event in it | **Moves / Move** | Could include discoveries, listings, trades, ownership changes, and evolution; each event must identify what happened |
| Opportunity or next action | **Play** | Could be a hunt, possible swap, or another available action; not an implemented recommendation engine |
| Ownership and transaction history | **Receipts** | Actual ownership/transaction facts when connected; evolution history can be labeled separately |

These are prototype labels, not proof that the audience universally prefers them or that a mechanic is implemented. Grail/Rare/Uncommon are sample categories, not an approved supply model. Dub is a proposed product noun; the collectible category is open.

## Lit and Glow-up — optional supporting language

**Lit** could fit a standout find or reveal. **Glow-up** could describe an especially impressive visual transformation. **Shift** covers any change, including a lateral or less desirable one. A visual glow-up does not imply a higher price. These terms are saved as options; do not force them onto every form or event.

## Help and responsible feedback

| Proposed use | Role | Meaning to preserve |
|---|---|---|
| **W** | Positive discovery, recognition, or verified successful action | A successful action does not establish financial gain |
| **L risk** | A specific listing/trade concern before an action | State the actual concern and supporting evidence; do not declare a bad trade from price or item count alone |
| **L** | A confirmed unsuccessful outcome, when that label fits the tone | Preserve the distinction between failed, pending, and unknown transaction status |
| **Delulu check** | A prompt to examine hype, speculative value, or an unsupported claim | Apply the check to the claim/deal, with plain factual explanation |
| **Solulu** | Help, a possible hint, or a practical next step | Help dialog implemented; hints and recovery workflows remain open |

The current interface uses **Need a solulu?** for its help dialog and **Delulu check** for factual sample-price limitations. No automated valuation, risk score, asset blacklist, trade judgment or hint engine exists. L should not describe a pending or unknown outcome as a confirmed failure.

The intro explains a Stash as a whole collection of Dubs. Its display has several visible members, an item count and a clear Look inside action. An opened Stash and a sealed mystery Stash are different presentations; neither establishes final purchase or reveal rules.

## Sharing and clipping vocabulary

**Moments** names the hub and its navigation link. A **moment** is the notable event: a large trade, a price move, a discovery or a meaningful Look change. The Dub or Stash is its subject; a moment records what happened. **Share a moment** is the public action; **Clip a moment** is the member-program action. The current page headline is **Moments worth sharing.** Sample posters/captions can be shared now; member clipping enrollment and reward rules remain open. ## Questions to resolve

- Does Stash mean an owner's inventory, a purchased bundle, or both with a clear distinction? Sealed Stash is the current mystery-bundle label.
- Does Grail become an objective rarity tier or remain a desirability term?
- Is Pull appropriate for the actual reveal/discovery mechanic?
- Can a creator say the terms naturally, and can a visitor understand what each control does?
- Which terms fit the final collectible category and its real evolution behavior?

[Audience research](AUDIENCE-RESEARCH.md) provides evidence and limits. W VIBE is selected; no platform currency/ticker, trademark, handle or custom-domain clearance is established. The existing Wilder World WILD token is a relevant naming constraint for any future currency, not a reason to reopen the selected Site name.
