Creative direction
Updated: 2026-09-05. W VIBE is selected; the first visual implementation is ready for review.
Core expression
Your flex. Always shifting. The recognizable collectible changes; public ownership and rarity make it worth showing. No cap supports the excitement with truthful claims and clear sample/live distinctions. Both mystery collection buying and individual hunting must be understandable before a visitor enters either flow.
The retained design uses the accepted lime/orchid W vibe wordmark, a near-black canvas and tactile temporary imagery. The Flex now displays decoded Devnet appearances, two distinct Stash types and public individual items. Hue, rotation and scale derive from the authenticated seed and issuance-bound schedule, while base artwork remains temporary. HOMEPAGE-V1.md describes the current experience; ASSET-PROVENANCE.md records the existing image sources.
The open creative decision
The current category discussion covers original unbranded cars, cats specifically, watches and fictional real estate. Additional candidates remain under review. Artwork itself is not a current asset category; high-quality visual presentation still matters. No general creatures category, connected virtual world or real-world geographic mirror is planned.
A collection may group unrelated rare assets with disclosed contents and a defined price. A neighborhood or fictional city can be a grouping without connected geography. An ownable building containing other assets is a different relationship whose ownership rules remain open.
Watches' first-pass direction is no Discovery. Original design, working mechanisms, precision and interactivity are promising; evolution cadence, code depth and case presentation need another pass. See Asset workshop. No watch hunt or case interface is approved for implementation.
Cats' selected first-pass direction is animated cartoon cats: progressive reveal first, then animation begins. Realistic cat pictures are excluded. The concept comes before breed selection; reveal does not imply aging. Exact style, reveal method/timing, animation, sound and traits remain open, as do Discovery and acquisition. Original, unbranded cars are the next discussion.
Define a recognizable example
| Question | Current answer |
|---|---|
| Site name | W VIBE |
| Current appearance term | Look, paired with a name; Shift is a change |
| Collectible noun | Dub in the prototype; final category open |
| Appearance | Temporary generated studies; final renderer open |
| Stable identity | Should remain recognizable through change; creative rules open |
| What changes and when | Program Clock selects named Looks on the issuance cadence; CSS adds decorative motion. Final visual transformations and cadences remain open |
| Owner influence | Open |
| What others can inspect | Public decoded appearance, actual test owner/finder, birth traits and scheduled state, test rarity/price and approved Stash facts; concealed members stay hidden |
| Scarcity/desirability | Program-derived birth rarity; no global supply cap; production supply, traits and pricing rules remain open |
| First page | Explanatory intro, both acquisition paths, collection feature with drill-down, individual spotlight/entries, activity and help |
| Motion accessibility | Pause, hidden-tab pause and reduced-motion behavior implemented |
The current wordmark says W vibe once in one SVG. A visible lift and color wave pass from W through v, i, b and e; no separate repeated W or generic wordmark font. /logo-options includes this complete option and Ripple W, Split W and Loop W symbol alternatives. The wordmark is accepted for the current version; final identity remains open. See IDENTITY.md.
Voice and media
W VIBE names the platform. The Flex, Dubs, Stashes, Moves and other working labels are in NAMING.md. Lit may suit a standout find; glow-up may suit a particularly impressive visual change. Neither is a synonym for every evolution or an increase in value.
Moments is the public sharing/clipping hub. It shows confirmed test sales, a collection handover, a gift, a claim and scheduled Look Shifts with previous/current platform test prices, alongside explicitly off-chain test listing changes. Before/after states and exports stay fixed, and sealed members never appear in their container's public media. Public visitors share; future members clip. A separate unlinked /reel page sequences three AI concept videos, animated words and an exploratory watch Look Shift in one frame. The existing Moments hub remains unchanged, and the paid program is not implemented.
Technical implications
The compiled v0.3.0 program fixes origin rules at issuance and computes scheduled states and test prices. The application authenticates the recipe and renders temporary type-specific images. The new 216-byte record retains a 16-byte encrypted seed plus public origin parameters and a recipe commitment. The program was recompiled and upgraded in this environment; legacy records remain supported. Final asset medium, meaningful visual development and production economics remain open.
Current asset workshop
Complete short discussions of each candidate category, document first reactions and open choices, then revisit before specifying or implementing. The asset workshop records watches, the selected cat concept and the remaining shortlist. Generic Artifact/Entity/Scene examples are technical fixtures only. Changes to minting, hierarchy, program behavior, rendering and discovery must follow the chosen assets and their appeal.
